Q: What are Pinball Legends(tm) Collectible Figurines?

A: They are collectible figurines of iconic characters from popular pinball machines of the past, mainly but not exclusively Williams(tm) and Bally(tm) games. They were created to celebrate the rich history of pinball and are a collectible as opposed toy. These are high quality polystone resin figurines, which are hand casted and hand painted. They currently are being made in two sizes "1/6" scale are between 12 and 15 inches high, limited to 500 each and come with a certificate. "1/12" scale are between 5 and 8 inches high, and there is no limit and no certificate.

Q: Where can I see/buy them?

A: Pinball Legends(tm) will be available in most regions thru one or more pinball related distributors per region rolling out late 2025 and thereafter. Media for the different figurines will be available online as well as will be displayed at shows as they become available. The first show having the current lineup of figurines is Pinball Expo 2025 in Chicago, Il in Oct 2025.

Q: Are these molded or 3d printed?

A: These are cast molded characters in high end smooth on 305 resin/poly and hand decorated, they carry a little bit of weight to them. The process combines the use of new 3D design of the figures and hand finish sculpting which are output as a heavy wax model and then further detailed and hand sculpted, and then mold material surrounds the wax and the wax is heated and the wax is vacated from the mold resulting in a highly detailed mold for production

Q: Who is producing these products?

A: There are three main entities involved in Pinball Legends, the original idea was from Planetary Pinball, the licensee for Williams(tm) and Bally(tm) games, who had been wanting this for years to get off the ground. That finally solidified after linking up with Melvin Brouwer of Alice in Wonderland/Dutch Pinball fame who had the connections and the capabilities to move the idea to fruition. One of those connections was a partnership with renown mod maker Lior Rajwan of the Art of Pinball who makes high quality and detailed mods. So this resulted in the perfect combination to get these figures done in high quality and consistency that was envisioned. So, these are high quality products with really credible and known entities involved and are made under license of their respective license holders.

Q: How many different figures are there?

A: The current plan is that Pinball Legends will be 'released' in batches of 6 figurines called SERIES, with SERIES 1 being the first batch of 6 figures, SERIES 2 being the next set of 6 figures, and onward. Also each SERIES will be available in 1:6 and 1:12 sizes as well. Customers can purchase them all or they can purchase only the figures that they are interested in (based on availability). Several series of figures have already been identified and are being defined and produced.

Q: Are all of these available at the same time?

A: Each SERIES of figurines (usually 6 different figures) will be 'launched' together and due to the time to design and manufacture, we are targeting to have a new series every ~4 months or so, so that would be potentially 2-3 SERIES or 12-18 new figurines possible in a years time. In addition each series will be run in batches and that will also take some time to make available based on the market interest. As noted earlier the limit on the large 1:6 size is 500 figures of each figurine and no limit on the smaller 1:12 size figures.

Q: What is the pricing?

A: The release US pricing for Pinball Legends figures will be $229 MSRP for each 1:6 (large) collectible figurine, and $89 MSRP for each 1:12 size figurine. This pricing will be translated within regions based on local tax (VAT, GST, etc) and will be as consistent with the US pricing with the exception that Tariff and Currency may create some differences. The development and production processes are similar for the 1:6 and 1:12 figures and in fact the smaller figures are more consuming in some ways due to maintaining as close to the same level of detail between the sizes.

Q: I love them how do I buy them all?

You will be able to purchase these figures individually or per SERIES (set/6) based on availability and stock from your local regional distributor. We appreciate every sale of these iconic figures and are looking at ways to recognize customers for their support. Distributors may offer a discount of around 10% for purchasing the SERIES together, and at least in the US, customers will be able to sign up for a little bit more of a discount thru the Pinball Legends Club to ensure that they get all the figures (in either size) and some early access when new Series is released, ensuring that those who want to collect all that are released will have the ability to do that!

Q: Tell me more about Pinball Legends Club?

A: Pinball Legends Club is an optional program by certain distributors (in the US, Planetary Pinball being one) to offer customers an additional set of benefits for wanting all of the Legends figurines and be fully immersed in the Pinball Legends with additional info, etc.

The idea is that you 'sign up' for Club membership which results in a customer getting all of the figures for each series released when they are released. Here are the benefits for the Pinball Legends Club:

Q: What is the Pinball Legends Patreon?

A: The Pinball Legends Patreon is how the Pinball Legends team will communicate with the Pinball Legends Figurine collectible community. The patreon is a small monthly subscription fee for those interested, and additionally a requirement for participation in the Pinball Legends Club which will offer discounts (The Club discount for 1 series purchase is about double the Patreon fees for an entire year). The Pinball legends team will release various inside info, early access, and other information over time. Note that joining the Pinball Legends Patreon does not require you to be part of the Pinball Legends Club, so you can get some of the insider information without having to purchase all the figurines.

Q: How are they packaged and shipped?

A: Each Pinball Legends figurine is shipped in its own designer box with foam inserts protecting each of the pieces (base, main body, additional elements, and sometimes appendages that magnetically snap in. There is not a cellophane window on them as they need to be protected in foam as well as minimally have the figure put on the base which is always a separate piece. We try to protect the figure to ensure that it gets to you without any damage.

Q: What about Breakage?

A: We do everything that we can to prevent damage, but if damage does happen then most generally your distributor who you purchased the items from may need to initiate a claim, and then work on how to remedy the damage. Most often they would arrange a replacement part to address the damage and will generally require evidence of the damage. We do want you to open the box on receipt and inspect for damage as damage responsibility for the Pinball Legends figures ceases by the distributor if not notified within 7 days of receipt of the package.

Q: Are these figures numbered and/or hologrammed?

A: The 1:6 Large figures are numbered xxx/500 as well as have a hologram both on the base as well as the certificate that comes with each figure. The 1:6 boxes have the number (out of 500) on the outside of the box as well. The 1:12 Smaller figurines do not have numbering as they are not limited, but each 1:12 figure has a hologram on the base.

Q: Are these licensed?

A: Yes, all figures are manufactured and distributed under license or with permission from the rights owner of the figures IP. In the case of the Williams(tm) and Bally(tm) figures that would be via Planetary Pinball, who is the licensee for pinball related merchandise items.

Q: When will Series 1 and Series 2 be available?

A: Series 1 will be available Late Nov into Dec of 2025, and Series 2 is planned to be available approx. 4 months after that into spring 2026 and then onward. Note also that each Series is made as a batch that is divided across the distributors worldwide, so there will be periods of out of stock products likely in between batches for a particular series or even a particular figure. Remember also that we are limited to no more than 500 of any single 1:6 figure, so possibly at some point we may 'retire' a figure when it hits that limit. We will update as we can on status and availability as we learn the demands and timings for replenishment.
