RAISING THE PLA YFIELD
&'CAUTION
Do not raise the playfleld straight upl This game uses a slide assembly to raise and lower the
playfleld.
Before Raising the Playfield:
Make sure there are no balls present In the ball trough or any of the other baIl-holding playfleld
devices (I.e. poppers). Raising the playfleld with balls present In these locations may cause them
to come loose and damage the playfleld. Use "Empty Balls Test" to remove all of the balls from
these locations.
To Raise Playfleld:
1. Grasp bottom arch and carefully lift up playfield only high
enough to clear safety brackets. Rear guide legs should
not hit wood guide rails or be used to slide out playfield.
2. Pull the playfield out toward you until it stops (rest position) and raise it
approximately 3".
Be sure playtleld Is In locked position and does not slide back
Into the cabinet. If It does, repeat Step 2 before proceeding to
Step 3.
3. Rotate playfield to upright service position (lean on backbox) by pulling ~
toward you and up. Listen for the sound of a click; this insures locking

To Lower Playfleld:
4. Rotate the playfield to the rest posttion. This unlocks the
pivoting sequence.
5. Push back playfield into cabinet and into playing
position.
