ADJUSTMENTS
All "Se ries 50" Accept ors leave the factory adjus ted for maximum performa nce. If, how -
ever, more cri tical adjustments are des ired, or if the unit has been comp letely disassembled for
service , the following adjus tmen t proced ure is sugge sted:
A. Kicker and Separator -(On Dime and Quarte r Accepto rs only)
1. Set the Accepto r with the back of the unit facing you in the test position .
2. Loose n the screws holding the kicker and separator and move both as far to the
right as they will go. Tight en the screws .
3. Insert severa l coins (both old and new) and note that some are return ed by strik-
ing the separator.
4. Loos en the separator screw and move the separator a slight amoun t to the left.
Tighten the screw.

5. Insert the coin s again and , if some of them are still returned, repeat Step 4 until
all of the coins are accepted.
6. Loosen the kicker screw and move the kicke r as far to the left as it will go.
Tighten the screw.
7. Inser t severa l coins and note that some of them are returned.
8. Loosen the kicker screw and move the kicker a slight amo unt to the right. Tighte n
the screw .
9. Insert the coins again and, if some of them are stil l returne d, repeat Step 8 until
all of the coins are accept ed.
10. Be sure the screws are tigh t after all adjustments are made .
