MMR Support [MMR Members Only] / Random multiball
« on: September 09, 2016, 10:49:06 PM »
Sorry if this has been asked, but is anyone getting random 4 ball multi balls? It may or may not be limited to 4 player games and when you attempt a super skill shot. Your playing away then you hear the trough kicking out the other 3 balls. When you lose one ball it keeps going until all are drained, it thinks that you really are to be awarded a 4 ball multi ball, anyone?

Ok. Definite pcb problem. If I barely flex the pcb by that connector the light will come on.  If anyone from pps or cgc wants to see a video of this I have one.  I will create a cgc ticket.

I thought because I had the game on normal that you only lock 2 balls then multi ball starts and if you played it on the hard setting you would have to lock 3 balls first. So I just thought that the castle lock 3 would never light. Well I watched it in attract mode and thought it was funny that it didn't light. Went into single lamp test and selected it and it will not light. Lifted the Playfield and if I wiggle or hold the connector it will light. However I cannot keep it lit once I take my hand off the connector. Wiggled the wires below the connector and it wouldn't light.  So I'm assuming it's a cold solder on  the other side of the Playfield.  I really hope this isn't the case since all the connectors are hot glued and plenty of them.  I haven't done it but I think another connector could be swapped and go through the lamp test to see if the castle lock 3 lamp test would light another insert. That would prove the connector is good. Is this test ok to try Lloyd. All connectors have the same ground pinout?

There are 3 screws holding it. So there is no give. Holes would likely have to be filled then new pilot holes be drilled since the new holes would be too close to the originals.  Then there is still the damaged Playfield after that.

It's currently hitting the wood, and will only move farther as the coil stop wears -- and you really think you'd move it so minimally that the holes would hit each other?
It only has to be moved likely an 1/8". Going far enough away from original holes might create new problems, such has the arm hitting the opposite side as well as the sling rubber wouldn't be hit at the proper angle. I don't know. Not trying anything until I hear from cgc.

This issue was brought to my attention on pinside so I checked out mine.  Damage has been done.  Do I need to contact cgc directly? Thanks

Ok good cause I already did that, let it sit overnight.  I can quite easily remove the tower from its base and it is on the base as far as the other towers are.  Will try a different glue if it comes off again.
  Thanks Lloyd.

MMR Support [MMR Members Only] / Right tower falls off
« on: May 29, 2015, 11:46:58 PM »
Hey guys, just finished putting all my cliffy's on when I noticed the right tower was off its pedestal. I thought maybe it came like that so I put it back on. Well tonight it fell off again. Not really holding real tight and it is the most violent tower. Should I just throw so adhesive or some pvc cement on it.
  Thanks
