For those of you that have installed the diffuser , do you see a difference ?
I am thinking of ordering but don't want to dissemble the game if effect is minimal or not at all ,

Mine is an early production, dated April 15, 2015

Just installed my kit as well . Old plunger measuredv2" even , new plunger measures 2 1/4 " .

It results in a nice clear 1/8 " to 3/16" clearance on the kicker playfield hole . I fortunately did not have visible damage but did the upgrade to be sure .

After installing a Mantis protector on the kick out area I found that I had the same problem , ball would rarely come out to the playfield . After further inspection I found that I had to realign the kicker assembly by loosening the 3 mounting screws and rotating it slightly clockwise . If you inspect assembly from the top you will see that as the ball is kicked up it is hitting the playfield metal guide ramp at the outlet area  and dropping it back down . Not a hard fix but must be perfectly aligned . Hope this helps . Paul

Apparently the original ramp must have been misformed or bent  . I moved and then tightened the original ramp  minutely left and then right at castle mount maybe 50 times trying to fine tune it . It was never right and was smashing the red strobe light or the back side of the castle 30 + percent of the time . CGC sent out new ramp and problem was immediately solved . Even before I fine tuned it the difference was obvious . Now the ball flow from the catapult into and around the rampant is smooth as silk . I hope this clarifys the issue .
Thanks, Paul

I just finished installing coin mechs . No issues whatsoever , moved center wire tie that was attached to the door , set wires into the recessed area and mounted the mechs . Works great and the machine recognizes the coins !  Ps. I did not have to reroute anything nor disconnect anything . Just moved the one  wire tie from the door mount behind the new mechs and left it loose . Mechs now keep it in the proper area with no compression on the wires whatsoever .

On the update , the catapult coil is already adjustable , but it goes -default to +1 to +2.
Default coil strength is already to high and I would like to also see a -1 to -2 . I have adjusted ramp many times and even in its best location , ball still smashes into the upper red plastic light and then comes backwards down the left side up ramp .
It really pains me to see my new game get beat up during regular game play . I had previously reported this on another thread .

Anyone else out there experiencing similar catapult problems ?

I have catapult launch set at default which appears to be the minimum power . When my catapult fires  the ball goes quickly up the ramp . then hits  the red attract light right at then end of the metal catapult ramp which then deflects the ball-straight backwards down through the left ramp entrance .

Isn't the catapult supposed to launch the ball so it goes  around the ramp and returns through the wires to the left flipper ? Anyone else having this issue ? Any fixes ?

Support from  both Loyd and CGM ( Sean and Dave ) has been exceptional ! Looks like I lost the 12 volt side of the power . We walked through the testing over the phone today . . They are sending out a new power supply for me to install immediately . I am very pleasantly surprised at the quick response .

  Many Thanks

Loyd ,
After about 20 perfect fully functioning plays , my game just went completely dark during play #21. I tested voltage in and all is good 110 . The green lights at the bottom right box next to coin door are lit . The extra power plug there reads 110 . The 3 banks of green lights next to fuse blocks on underside of playfield are lit . The board behind the backglass is dark . All playfield lights , mechs , and backglass dark and non functioning as well . I don't want to research anything further without your expert advice . I don't know of a reset or bad board or ?
Please get back to me as I want to get playing again soon .

Thanks , Paul
