Yes, Large screen for MMR will happen, just not sure when as Chicago Gaming is consumed with getting AFMR's out. But I am pushing.

Could the current MMR LCD be repurposed for another pin, ala ColorDMD style?  It will be tough to throw $200 away.

Rick,
As a MMR LE owner, I appreciate your outreach to existing customers concerning the purchase of AFMR.

Although I won't be able to purchase AFMR, I look forward to your future offerings and the enhancements they contain.

Keep up the good work!

Will the speaker light kits be made available? I would like to apply to MMR.

I know it flies in the face of the purists but since these are "remakes" not reproductions, why not open the bezel on the display and use the entire screen? You're already rewriting the code, I'm guessing it wouldn't take much to stretch the graphics to fit.

I agree!

Rick,
I know I am reigniting an old post, but I was working on my TAF over the weekend and would love to get a replacement playfield sometime in the future.  Any chance of PPS reproducing these?  I am also interested in getting new apron decals.

6
Rick,  Will you revealing where in Chicagoland?  I will be visiting my son who lives in that area this weekend and would love to see it.

I just played CCC at the VFW in Brighton, MI and what a blast! Previously I was not interested in buying one when this was first discussed because my only exposure was through pin arcade. If a CCCR is made which includes the features Rick stated, then you can count me in.

I believe the cover for the cord box - back for the machine.

Prior to installing the translite, I removed the top trim piece to gain extra clearance. There was no appreciable difference so I left it on for the 3D. I did not find the 3D to be any tighter than the original because no parts that affect dimensions have changed. In summary, I don't need to remove the back glass too frequently, so I'm not worried. However, CGC should evaluate the build to avoid this condition on future releases.

One thing that I did learn to appreciate was the beauty of the original translite. Seeing it without the glass made me realize its quality. This made me somewhat regret replacing it, so at some point it will be framed and hung.

My back glass is also very tight. I just received the 3D, so hopefully it does not get worse. #349.

Swapping an unpopulated playfield is a s**t ton of work, and something I'm not comfortable doing.  For $8k, I don't think I should have to either.

Not to mention the cost if you inadvertently screw it up.

On my machine, I found that the diverter gate interfered with the slit in the ramp.  Fix involved carefully bending the diverter gate.

When my flippers got weak, I got them back to standard by cleaning the sleeves and shafts. The left flipper was particularly dirty.  I didn't check the number of games, but I received the machine in September.
Something to consider.

Has anyone figured out a fix?

Balls would hit it and deflect over to the moat VUK. ( same as on my MM when it came out ) I gently bent that ball guide so it was a little curved, and end of problem.

LTG : )

Lloyd, I have this issue (ball hitting VUK on left orbit) and can see the impact area on the VUK edge.  In fact, it happens frequently and is very easy to replicate manually.

I tried to gently bend the ball guide, but it seems pretty solid.  Should I remove the guide to adjust it?  I also read where someone removed material from the VUK edge.  Is this something to consider and if so, how much material should I remove?  Obviously I don't want to create a new problem.
Thanks, Scott

I did not think about the high power interlock - mystery solved.  I thought of bending the wireform but want to be careful as I don't want to create a "hump".  Will evaluate further.

Thanks!
