Can you confirm that some were produced last week at all? If not, whats the schedule date on producing them?

They are on the line now. Game playfields are produced first, and then mated with the cabinets, 50+ black playfields for black games are done and now being mated with black cabinets this week, and will ship as soon as that happens.

Black playfields? What's different? Are the wireforms black too? I just assumed the playfield in both would be identical and only the trim changed.

My understanding is the Wireforms are different on the different models

No I believe they are gold still but Rick mentioned having some black to by from PPS possibly. I may be wrong.

Please clarify... Is a black playfield any different from any other playfield, and if so in what ways and can you provide pictures?... Thought (as did others) it was only the trim... E.g. Legs, lockdown bar, etc. that was different... What about stainless, are they different too?
This has me greatly concerned...

No, the playfields destined for the black games. Nothing is different on the playfield for the black games.

I highly doubt. I think these different trim options have already been enough of a hassle.

Why? I wasnt asking to get them already installed. I would think it would be pretty easy for them.

possibly, but have no idea if powdercoated ramps will hold up like plated ramps ...

Come on black.... 8)....been waiting long enough... :'(. Now all I do these days is tuning up soundwise my others machines with Pinball Browser. What a shame to use that time instead of playing my upcoming, soon to be, Black trimmer MMR.
Well, hope for some good news later this month, or the other....
