Since they are sending out dongles with the color (whenever that is), will they or can they include the sd card for the software update as well?

I don't own an sd card, I don't even have a port on my computer for it, it is nothing I use.

If the upgrade can be "all in one" that would be beneficial to people like me and I won't worry about trying to figure out how to install it when I'm missing components.

I posted this somewhere else, but I'm going to make the same point here:

The colorizing should be part of the r&d budget for each game, and be rolled out included with each remake, ideally on release.

It would throw fuel on the sales, and immediately make the remakes more coveted than originals.

The argument about whether a remake should include improved things not original is already moot, because the machines are shipping with leds instead of incandescent, new boards, etc.

Also solves the piracy issues, since every remake owner then is entitled to the color dots and keeps life simple for everyone.

The goal is to keep distance and confidence between announcing and availability reasonably low

I think this is paramount. Yeah it's great to bring games to shows to show them off and get people excited, but if there isn't product ready to be delivered (soon), then the whole clusterF starts all over again.

I adjusted my Merlin hole by adding some washers to the mech underneath, so there is more of a "pocket" for the ball to be caught in. It helps with the bounces (non-existent now).

Just throwing that out there since everyone probably has spare washers.

I was messing around with the flipper power, and when set at MAX the ball definitely flies around the playfield faster. Is there a reason I should NOT do this? Seems like snappier flippers is more enjoyable, but I don't want to wreck anything.

An alternative solution that I did for the knocker was added some foam tape to the striking plate, which dulls the knock and lowers the db a lot, so you hear a knock, but not too loud for a home environment.

Boy, when this was first posted, it was seen as a POSITIVE to name drop them, now both are a ongoing blight on pinball.

Thanks. The dot has gone away on its own.

I've seen the catapult one pop up. Usually you trigger it in a test and it will clear it up. It is annoying to have a dot visible. Maybe if the game software is updated they can raise the # so there will be less "false positives" and normal (bad) play won't trigger it.

I have a credit dot and this is the error. I am not seeing anything wrong while I play. I am not sure where the L Gate is, but I'm guessing it is on the orbit? Joust works correctly.

I tried to make the message go away with a switch test but wasn't sure what or where to trigger it and it is still there. Any help where the L Gate is and how to clear the dot would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've seen the "warm white" on another MMR, but mine is fine.

I just installed .984 token mechs in my MMR and found the slot is not big enough to take them. That would also rule out Canadian dollar and 2 dollar coins.

Are there bigger slots available anywhere, in the same orange?
