I'm still waiting to hear something, anything on my ticket for this issue. Open 33 days and still counting...

How does one adjust a roll over switch?

I think I can get the peasants switch adjusted (just a bend) but I'm not sure what to bend for the fire rollover, or the rollover in the castle since those are giving me inconsistent results.

Any suggestions on debugging the switches? I can open a support ticket if that's preferred, but I thought a guide on how to handle this might help some of the other new pinball owners as well :).

Thanks!

I generally followed a guide here for Woz: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Basically open up the machine and pull the play field out. You need to loosen and remove two screws (which require a socket, or in my case careful pliers) on the front of the pinball apron. Then you just slide the apron forward a bit and lift and it should come off. Might stick a bit at first but a firm push should get it off.

Then I just bent the little metal flap out a bit so the opening was a bit more square. Overall this was pretty easy to do.

MMR has been mostly treating me well, but I've been having a problem with a few switches not always registering.

Switch 62 the second switch for the peasants doesn't always seem to trigger. It wasn't working at all until I went and bent the metal clip a bit, but I'm not sure that was the correct solution.

I'm also having trouble with the switch inside the castle working intermittently. I've seen a castle destruction happen when shooting a ball into the ball/lock door. I've also had the ball go into both the castle and the ball lock without triggering anything. (Switch 44? Not sure how that mechanism works.)

I'm also seeing the left return lane switch 26 acting up and not always registering when the ball crosses. This seems to happen usually when a ball returns down the wireframe from the catapult or peasants. Since this works sometimes and not other times I'm not really sure how to go about debugging this.

Mostly posting here for general debug help as I'm relatively new to the whole fixing random pinball issues as my other machine was already dialed in when I got it.

Power didn't help, but bending the metal a bit seems to have made it consistently work. When I was looking at the hole it seemed a bit small, barely large enough for a pinball to fit through (which I guess is the point?)

Thanks for the fast response!

The balls are definitely popping up then falling back down. I'm first going to re-check the level to make sure that's not a problem then see if I need to go bend some metal. (It looks a little tight). Am I better off adjusting the metal or just trying to turn the power up on the kicker?

Saw it thanks.

I'll see if I can shift the ramp slightly and get everything lined up.

I'm having a problem where the ball won't kick out into the shooter lane, instead it repeatedly tries to kick out but falls back into the ball trough. This has been happening for long enough periods that entire multi balls are missed because the ball never kicks out. I've even had balls fail to ever launch and the game think a ball drained.

This make the game basically unplayable (or very unfun at least) since you can never know if the ball will properly eject or get stuck.

I'm having a problem where the dragon diverter to the damsel tower drops, then rotates a tiny bit and get stuck under the plastic ramp. The mechanism seems a bit lose and prone to rotate, the only way to consistently fix this is to take the glass off and slightly rotate the diverter so it pops through the hole.

Otherwise sometimes when the diverter would drop again it can shift a bit and make it back through the hole the next time.

Looking for some help as I couldn't see a way to prevent the mechanism for slightly rotating.
