So the word is that #3 won't be introduced in Texas. That there is some "new" technology that isn't yet ready.

Quick question, LEs will arrive with mirror blades. Has felt or any other buffer been installed at the factory or should owners install "something" if they are concerned about scuffing?

Curious, on Pinside there is mention of backboard art work.
I'm in on a LE, I understand that it will arrive with mirror sides. Is this backboard artwork a new addition or is there some last minute changes going on?

« on: March 24, 2017, 09:24:34 AM »What is being done with AFMR LE for existing MMR LE customers is to give them the ability to have the same LE# that they had for MMR LE and prioritize them in line for a game from Chicago Gaming. The stipulation is that a deposit be received by April 15th ... that is new as of this morning and had come from a conference call with all the resellers.
Don't know if this was covered elsewhere but who are the resellers? Will they all be selling at the same terms or prices? Or is that up to them and us to strike a deal?

Couple quick questions. What are the dimensions of the games? Don't have a lot of headroom in the basement so a game with a topper may not fit.
And, will the upgrades from the LE be available for purchase or installed as an option on the SE? IOW, can the mini saucer lighting installed as an option on a SE? Would there be an issue with the leds being driven properly if retro fit?

I know it flies in the face of the purists but since these are "remakes" not reproductions, why not open the bezel on the display and use the entire screen? You're already rewriting the code, I'm guessing it wouldn't take much to stretch the graphics to fit.

I don't know about this. I've got a sheet of glass (even worse, it's invisiglass) that has a hairline fracture in it. An that fracture is directly above the left troll.

I guess my concern is that I've seen references in other places that connecting replacement speakers together avoids "stressing" the circuits that produce the signals. But wouldn't that automatically cancel the stereo capability? Thanks for sharing your experience. IMO, the factory speakers leave much to be desired. Your choice appears to be a reasonable one.

I've noticed that some have replaced the factory speakers with either kits or their choice of speakers from Crutchfield or Amazon.
Am I correct that the speakers as delivered are 4 ohm rated?
And so when some install their new speakers that are rated 8 ohm, they are running them in series to simulate 4 ohm speakers. Doesn't this defeat any stereo capability?
IOW, I too would like to enhance the sound the game produces but don't want to do it in a manner that would stress the components that produce the sound. But a pair of Kicker speakers at $60 or so is far more attractive than a $200 kit.
Any advice is appreciated.

Quick question, I am experiencing the reset and also was instructed to replace the CR2032 battery. Is this done while the game is powered up or not? I would rather not lose my settings and high scores so I assume it should be done powered up. Is there any reason why I should not do it that way?
