IPB - Playfields for Sale (ex-WMS, IPB, etc) / Jungle Lord Playfield - $675 obo

NOTE: Each of these playfields can be samples or proto's or early production or production, and we will do our best to highlight what we see in the playfield. In addition, we include several high res pictures of the playfield. If this is not sufficient for you then you may addon the additional Playfield Assurance option for the playfield which for an additional charge will get more scrutiny and interaction with our staff before the playfield is shipped. In any event ALL SALES THAT ARE SHIPPED ARE FINAL! (If for any reason you return the playfield, you agree to pay cost to ship to you and cost to return to us). It is impossible for us know if there are any deviations with these playfields as possible changes in artwork or insert colors, etc could be on these playfields as many were proto or sample, etc. When we see something different we will note it, but we may not know all of the details of any playfield, so please review the pictures carefully!

NOTE: Price sold does not include shipping - which is an oversized playfield box which we will package and ship, so this will be added on separately based on destination address.

JUNGLE LORD PLAYFIELD:
- OVERALL: Looks like a production playfield, possibly pre-production. Overall decent shape, some fading/discoloration minor in the white.
- MARKINGS (Date, Mfg, etc): May 4 / JUNGLE LORD GAME NO 503
- TYPE: PRODUCTION OR PRE-PRODUCTION
- CONDITION: NEW
- FINISH: Appears to have a thin clearcoat
- DRILLED: The playfield appears to be fully drilled
- DIMPLED: Playfield is dimpled on both sides
- COLOR/INK: Colors appear to be correct, Whites are a little faded, there is some dicloration on the 2nd from the right white area
- SCRAPES/SCRATCHES: Might need some work before installation. Can also be used for wall art
- WARPAGE: Does not appear to have any major warping
- OTHER: Some fading of the wood around the bottom/right/left edge (probably stacked or in a rack), very minor plank marks or sanding marks, but probably would need clearcoat over to level out. Do not see any scratch marks which is good.

MMR Updates (READ ONLY) / MMR Update - 3/23/16

Quick update ... slow progress on the line. PPS shipped about a dozen of it's games in the last week, so hopefully that picks up.


We are collecting on our last LE customers and those should be shipping soon.


PPS are now taking orders on MMR STD's.

MMR update from calls with CGC:


- Some games are shipping each week - not anywhere near what we want to see, partly due to some parts being rejected by Stern QA to CGC for review.
- More black trim is coming in within the next 10 days and then there will be a burst of Black Games.
- CGC (Doug Duba, Doug Skor) and PPS (Rick) will be down at TPF with 3 Standard MMR's setup to play
- No update on when the Color will be available Rick/Doug to discuss at TPF.

PPS Parts - Now Available! / IPB (WMS Original) Playfields - INITIAL LIST Posted

We have a large number from the IPB acquisition original playfields which were either proto's, proofs', or final samples, of many titles going back to the 80's Solid States. We will be listing the titles of what we find here, and then as many of them may be unique (early art, slightly different colors, etc) we will then be listing them on the site for purchase.


If anyone has specific interests - these would be Bally/Midway/Williams playfields - you can post here and we will see what we can find.

Attack From Mars Remake (AFMR) / Welcome to Game #2 board on the PPS forum

Well, not alot to say yet, but it will be a shift in how we did things with MMR ... first change is we are tightening up best we can so announcement is a short time before production - can we be certain of this, no, but we certainly know what things need to happen that did not to at least bring the distance between the announcement and orders to shipment WAY down.


I can say that parts pre-production parts have all been ordered and are being checked out as they come in. There is at least one fully running proto with almost all new production parts. The electronics are multiple revs in and the game is playing with sounds and lights and has been for some time.


There will be a different approach to how the versions of the game are structured, a bit different for MMR which will be obvious once you see the game.


More as we have more to say ...

MMR Updates (READ ONLY) / MMR Update - 2/12/16 Update

Games continue to ship, somewhere around the 750 mark.


Europe games (MoP) are waiting to be built based on MoP sorting out their customer situation with payment delays caused by currency surprise, so MoP is going to collect it's customers and determine with CGC when that will be fulfilled, but CGC is ready to work on the build of those games when things are arranged.


Planetary Pinball is now going thru it's final list of collecting balances from customers at this time, so we are sending shipping instruction to CGC for as many games as we can get full payment on as fast as we can. If you have not heard from Jim (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) about collecting final payment, then please reach out to him as we are loading up CGC with requests to ship games every couple of days now.


There has been a little concern about some of the text on the inserts, I have been advised by Stern and CGC (separately) that this issue has adjusted their review process on incoming playfields to check for any lighter text on the inserts. So I have been told that any games leaving the factory have been reviewed and deemed worthy to ship. But also know that the artwork is per original, and a combination of led light, light intensity, insert clarity, ink transparency, which creates a variance in every playfield. So, I believe that the smart ones reviewing the playfields have a better visual standard on this and are reviewing to ensure that playfields get on the line that should get on the line.


SO, an update to the update - CGC is working on an adjustment to the brightness of the LED's to the inserts, and this will cause a delay in releasing all of the software updates until March timeframe now  :-(  if and when I get more on this I will let you know.


Still waiting on pricing info for Colorized Display, so will update when we know that.


I would expect that MMR Standards will start to be planned for production soon, and will likely overlap with some of the final MMR shipments - mainly because of resellers not being ready/able to execute on the remaining MMR's that they have. PPS for example this week is reaching out to all remaining customers, but some are taking weeks to reply, etc. PPS want to ensure that it's customers have the option/chance to get their MMR LE ahead of the time that MMR standards start shipping. We have some time yet, but again for any of our Planetary customers, now is the time to get your payment in as there are games available to ship.
