Castle Drawbridges Error message says "Down switch broken"

My machine is giving me an error message that the up and down switches are broken.  when i go into the switch test mode and operate the manually nothing happens the do not close they stay in the open position. Both switches stay open. help

Please check connector for the switches close to the drawbridge assembly that it is pushed together tight, and a wire or pin isn't sticking out. Then follow to the board the wires go to and be sure that connector is plugged on tight.

In Tests, you can also run a drawbridge test to check them.
