My guess is they run them through a drum sander to take them back to the wood and then back to screening

Anyone know how the redo is going?  Got all my playfield parts restored and waiting for a new home.  Working on the cab and decals now.

I'm actually going to go with some custom ones.  Never been a fan of the stock decals so figured this would be a good time to personalize a bit.  I've heard good things about the repo decals for this title though.  There is a guy on pinside that put some on and they looked real good.

I have seen those and look very good.  I am still debating if I want to keep the original screened printed or get the decals.  Yellows and reds are pretty faded on my game, not horrible, but faded/washed out.
Thanks,

Cash in hand is not the problem ... lol

Latest update is that the playfields are being silkscreened now and will be done early next week, and then go off to be cleared, which will take a couple weeks to do as there are multiple coats and sanding in-between, then the clear needs to cure a little, so probably sometime in January is the best predition I can make.

Thanks for the update Rick. If he sends you any more pics I'd love to see them.

Yes I know!  I know these things take time.   I also know that I do not always have cash in hand waiting to spend it.  lol

I am starting to appreciate more and more how difficult it is build and to finish a beautiful silkscreened PF from Scratch.

it's very difficult, usually takes 2 years from start with several issues causing to restart until people get the formulas right, and then there are always big road bumps in the middle ...
