CLEANING PROCE DURE
Periodically clean the nickel bounce tester by
using a screw driver with a cloth over the blade
of the screw driver.
The nickel bounce tester
edge must be free of any foreign matter which
may cushion the boun ceof the nickel.
Keep all mag ne ts clean of all foreign pa rticles.
The nickel and quarter magnets may be cleaned
by swingi ngthe gat e open . In order to clean the
d ime magnet, rem ove the lower sc rew and loosen
the top sc re w . The n slide the dime magnet cov er
pl a te ass em b ly outwa rd.
Whe nev e r necessary , the acceptor should be
cleaned w ith hot wat e r and a cleanser . The steps
are as fo llow s :
1. Place acceptor in boiling water and allow
to soak for about 10 minutes .
2. After soaking , us e a brush and kitchen
cleaner to clean foreign matter .
3 . Again, rinse in boil ing water .
4. Dry throughlyby using filter ed compressed
ai r.
NOTE: Hot wa ter is rec om mended as
it
evaporates rapidly and speeds the
drying process .
5 . Use powdered graphite on only the mo v ing
parts of the accep tor. Use care to keep the
powdered graphite away from the paths that
are foIl owed by the coins . DONOT USE O IL.
