IV. FEATURE OPERATION

SCORING
A. MEMORY BONUS FEATURE
The outhole bonus on this game is not a result of a bonus being incremented by various targets
or rollovers. Instead the bonus is a result. of letters which when lit are worth 1,000 points and
arrows which when lit are worth 3,000 points,
A bonus score of 1,000 to 120,000 may be scored. The bonus consists of four (4) rows of lights
which are labeled K-I-8-S and eight (8) amber arrows. The arrows are lit by either completing a
vertical or horizontal line. A horizontal line of bonus is completed by lighting K-I-S-S. These
letters are lit either by hitting the corresponding targets or by going thru the corresponding
rollovers. Also an entire line of bonus K-I-S-S may be lit by either knocking down all the drop
targets or by going thru the light-a-line rollover when lit. Completing the four rows of K-I-S-S the
first time lights the super bonus light which is worth 40,000 points. Completing the card a
second time lights the colossal bonus light for a value of 80,000 points. The card can now be lit
one more time for a total value of 120,000 points.
B. BONUS COLLECT AND BONUS MULTIPLIER
When the ball goes into the outhole, the lit bonus score is added to the player's total score. If the
2X light is lit, twice the amount of the bonus is added to the player's score.
The 2X Bonus light is lit by lighting A-8-C-D.
The 2X Bonus light is not held in memory.
C. LlGHT-A-LINE FEATURE
It's possible to light the entire word KISS at one time. This is accomplished either by knocking
down all the drop targets or by going thru the light-a-line rollover when lit.
There are two (2) switches which can influence the frequency at which the light-a-line rollover is
made.
SW.#23 Light-A-Line Frequency Switch
ON: The light-a-line rollover is lit till K-I-S-S special is lit.
OFF: The light-a-line rollover alternates till K-I-S-S special is lit.
SW.#30 Light-A-Line Liberal Conservative Switch
ON: The light-a-line light is lit at the start of a new ball.
OFF: Random
D. A-B-C-D FEATURE
The A-8-C-O feature consists of four (4) targets on the righthand side of the playfield.
The completion of the A-8-C-O sequence is explained as follows:
'1 st time A-8-C-D is made 2X.
2nd time A-B-C-D is made Extra ball.
3rd time A-8-C-O is made Special.
4th time and each additional time A-B-C-O is made a special is awarded.
There is a switch which may be used to control the frequency of these awards.
