I'm getting way to many emails, etc for playfields, so I cannot keep track of them.

Several people are asking for details about some of the playfields which pictures and descriptions are already posted - please look thru first. Others that are listed but not posted let us know you are interested and then when pulled then pictures and descriptions will be put on the forum.

SO, the priority for any of these playfields goes to those who PM me via the forum. I will try to keep track of others, but there is way too much going on.

We have a number of IPB CV Playfields that we have, as well as what looks to be a decent IPB TAF playfield (that has a tag about something wrong with an insert), as well as some KISS playfields which have various color issues, etc. All will be coming up shortly.

We literally have hundreds of different playfields, some one of a kind and others with multiples. Most all are unique and have to have pictures taken and descriptions made.

I"m out of pocket this week as PAGG in Dixon CA is this coming week. But more will be coming when I get done with that.

Checking interest in the Cactus Canyon Collectors plate, which was the plate with the engraved # (of 925 I believe) that were on CC's and often are lost, etc.

We have been in contact with the original supplier, who has the original mold, etc. and can get them remade.

They will be <=$100 and will come either engraved (if we have #'s from CC owners) or non-engraved (you can engrave yourself, or if you just want a plate and don't even have a CC but want a plate just to have).

Please let me know any interest in getting a plate and if there are specific # engraved that you would want.

Thanks,
rick

MMR Updates (READ ONLY) / MMR Update - 5/3/16 Line Revs Up!
« on: May 03, 2016, 09:50:11 PM »
Well, finally some good news ... parts are in and confirmed and the line is running now.

It's been sporadic game production the last few weeks, and way too slow! I have talked with CGC and with Stern and getting reports regularly from both about game shipments and parts status ... things are setup to run now ... and we are pushing in alot of areas to move things forward.

The most important is rolling out the MMR LE's. MMR shipments increasing, PPS just released 10 Black MMR's today, and more coming each day now. Silvers and Golds will be shipped as well. In addition Europe games are to be run in this final leg of the batches as well. PPS have reached out to all of our customers for payments and other than the stragglers, after receiving final payment they go into the queue for CGC to ship. We expect most of our LE's to be shipped within a week or two, and then when the straggler customers pay (some require alot of prodding to come up with their payments), we will ship those as well.

As of now PPS is now focused on delivery of the LE's as well as now sales of the MMR Stds, which are also going on the line this week. If anyone is interested in a standard, please contact me directly You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login or 408-891-7878 (cell). Any LE's that come up due to final customers falling out will be $8495+shipping. MMR LE Stds are $7995.

PPS have parts orders in for MMR Stds, and are waiting for CGC to release the software update and then the color display will be available, so that is CGC to deliver.

CGC have allocated (i.e. have reseller committments) for the first 500 standards as well as alot of those which are sold), we anticipate another 500 batch to be opened up soon, and expect that to sell out as there are a number of resellers who have not been included into the process yet.

MMR Updates (READ ONLY) / MMR Update - 4/6/16 - PPS, etc
« on: April 06, 2016, 11:46:51 AM »
At this point PPS has contacted all remainging MMR LE customers. Some have still not paid and payment is in transit.

There may be a couple who we cannot contact that we will cancel their order and make those LE's available - if anyone is interested, has payment available immediately, then please contact me directly You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

PPS Shipped about a dozen games last week, as well as another few this week. We have a number of game requests ready to ship at CGC and expect those as soon as the line is re-running.

CGC continues to indicate a burst of bulk of the remaining games in the next week or two start - and may take a couple of weeks to complete.

PPS is now gearing up for MMR STD Sales - anyone wishing an MMR STD please contact us. You will be put in line and MMR STDs should be starting up soon.

MMR Updates (READ ONLY) / MMR Update - 3/31/16 (Horses Mouth)
« on: March 31, 2016, 03:12:51 PM »
Here is the latest update from a call with Doug Duba at CGC this morning 3/31 - note that this is the 'best' info I have from CGC, but as we always have seen, even the best info will likely change (more things move out than move in).

THE 'CURRENT' PLAN FROM CGC FOR GAMES (note caveat that anything can and usually does change):
- Some parts have been re-done due the mfg quality issues (i.e. rejected by Quality Control), that put some delay into the works.
- Also I believe there are some scheduling due to Stern running some batches of games
- Some golds that will be shipping in the next few days.
- CGC indicates that some blacks (we had some ship) about 1-2 weeks ago, and then more Blacks will be run and coming out in about 2 weeks.
- So there will be games coming out to satisfy most of the outstanding requests from resellers in April
- Then CGC will prepare Europe games for shipment (not sure how many or in how many batches - that is discussion between CGC and MoP) - that may be a couple of weeks.
- Then final batches of LE's as well as Standards will be run.

SOFTWARE UPDATE:
- Software update final rev that was to fix some things came out today.
- CGC will be packaging for distribution soon (1-2 weeks?)

COLOR UPDATE:
- Color software is done.
- We have discussed the mechanics on delivery and the pricing and that will be communicated in the next week (I hope)
- Anticipated availability 2+ weeks

Heavy Metal Meltdown Playfield:
- OVERALL: Looks like a TEST or PROOF playfield, has a bunch of scraches in the black. Major issue is the flat black in the bottom several inches - not sure why or what that is or if that is the way it is
- MARKINGS (Date, Mfg, etc):
- TYPE: TEST OR PROOF
- CONDITION: NEW
- FINISH: Looks like minimal clearcoat on this playfield with the exception of the lower few inches.
- DRILLED: Playfield may not be fully drilled but has major routing holes.
- DIMPLED: Is not Dimpled
- COLOR/INK: Colors seem look to be correct but do not know for sure
- SCRAPES/SCRATCHES: Many scratches in the black looks like from handling with no clearcoat. A larger scrape next the right pop-hole. A little bit of insert lift. Various marks around, which mostly are in the black.
- WARPAGE: Does not appear to have any major warping
- OTHER: The flat black on the bottom - not sure why it looks like there was no clear applied or something otherwise is the case. Is on 3-Ply wood, not sure if this was normal for production or not.

X's And O's Playfield:
- OVERALL: Looks like a decent Test or Proof playfiled, do not know if the art is final or not. Has one large scratch on the Upper Left.
- MARKINGS (Date, Mfg, etc): MAR 19, 19??
- TYPE: TEST OR PROOF
- CONDITION: NEW
- FINISH: Either minimal or no clearcoat on this playfield.
- DRILLED: Playfield is not drilled but has major routing holes.
- DIMPLED: Is not Dimpled
- COLOR/INK: Colors seem look to be correct but do not know for sure
- SCRAPES/SCRATCHES: Has a large scratch running from the top to the let of the Special Insert down thru the middle of the popbumpers, and ending at the bottom popbumper. Has a couple of ink nicks in the upper blue and purple area. Has a scrape next to the LH Caveman (not thru the ink)
- WARPAGE: Does not appear to have any major warping
- OTHER: Woodgrain bleeding thru the ink a bit, some of it exaserbated as it's not as clean (was dusty) as it could be). Additionally, There is yellowing of the off-white to be expected with an old playfield. A little bit of insert lifting around the edges of the inserts/ink. Hopefully a good clearcoat would save this playfield and make it pretty nice.

Lost World Playfield
- OVERALL: Appears to be a pre-production or test playfield in very nice condition. Looks like a playfield that was used to test for dimple/hole placement.
- MARKINGS (Date, Mfg, etc):
- TYPE: PRE-PRODUCTION OR TEST
- CONDITION: NEW
- FINISH: Looks like no clearcoat to a very thin clearcoat.
- DRILLED: Is drilled as well as has major routing holes.
- DIMPLED: Is dimpled - note that there are what appears to be either tape residue or something on the back in a couple of places - not sure why.
- COLOR/INK: colors seem to be correct
- SCRAPES/SCRATCHES: There are a couple small scratches scrapes in black, not very noticeable. There is a scrape going from the '32' Insert going to the left of the '256' insert end at about the womans head with yellow hair.
- WARPAGE: This playfield does have a twist, looks like about 1/2 inch and laying flat the LH upper seems to be high - I think this should settle out fine in the game. No other major issues, and some sand marks on the playfield which is indicative of having little or no clearcoat.
- OTHER: Appears to, be in very good shape, some very minor dust in the finish here and there which is normal, and a couple of small marks under the ink, but nothing that would be out of the ordinary for a new playfield.
